Solar Energy USA is a national company that offers the best products at the best price. Georgia is the home of our National headquarters. Our support system for the rest of the country is here in Alpharetta. Our goal is to help as many homeowners and business owners improve the performance of their homes and buildings. Solar Energy USA is an active member of the Georgia Solar Energy Association, American Solar Energy Society and International Solar Energy Society. We are active coast to coast as sellers, designers and installers of solar photovoltaic systems, solar thermal systems and commercial indoor lighting. We know that investing into solar panels is a big step and requires a good understanding of what you are purchasing, how it works, the benefits and the return on investment. And because it is such a high involvement process, we go above and beyond to make sure our employees are trained to answer your questions with the most knowledgeable answers and the latest insight on technologic advancements within the solar industry. During our training sessions we discussed the use of micro inverters, a newer technology that enables the owner of the solar array the ability to remotely monitor system performance and output levels. We suggest micro inverters from Enphase Energy along with their stellar Enlighten monitoring software. We also talked about the advancements in panel efficiencies including standard rectangular mono and polycrystalline modules, thin-film technology, and solar shingles. Our discussions also revolved around commercial office energy efficiency and the sweeping changes coming from the federal government on light bulb fixtures and ballasts, specifically outdated T12 bulbs and ballasts. A federal mandate has already passed decrying that T12 bulbs and ballast can no longer be produced. The mandate also states that soon these T12 light bulbs and ballasts will no longer be sold. You can change out your entire fixture and replace everything with T8 technology which is newer but not very much more efficient, or you can do a simple retrofit to the exiting T12 fixture and change the old bulbs and ballasts to newer, much more efficient T5 adapters. T5 technology has been popular in Eastern countries for years because of the higher utility rates they pay overseas, but is just now gaining popularity in the US as power rates have steadily increased. The smart companies are realizing they can save thousands of dollars that directly reduce their fixed costs just by upgrading a simple light bulb. Additionally, we talked about all of the tax credits and rebates that are available for both energy efficient upgrades and renewable energy systems like solar pv and solar thermal. At the end of the day we all concluded there has never been a better time than now to invest in clean, renewable, American made energy efficient advancements and solar technologies.
