carlos_ghosn_nissanleafAre you a metro-Atlanta electric vehicle (EV) driver who currently owns a Nissan Leaf or Chevy Volt? Would you have less “range anxiety” if your business offered EV charging on-site?

A new program offered by the U.S. Department of Energy and ECOtality is designed to collect EV charging data to better understand EV driving habits and the corresponding effects on local power grids. Under this program dubbed “The EV Project,” Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf owners can apply to have a level 2 EV charging station installed at a home or business for FREE!

The EV Project is deploying electric car charge infrastructure in twenty-one major cities in nine states and the District of Columbia. Atlanta was recently announced as one of the major cities to participate in the program.

In addition to receiving a FREE EV charging station, project participants can also receive a credit worth up to $1,000 dollars to go toward the cost of installing the level 2 electric vehicle charging station!

Interested in learning more about the metro-Atlanta EV charging station infrastructure and participating in this project? Contact Us today and we will send you the details – we’ll even install your new level 2 EV charging station (and provide you with some solar power if you’d like).

Solar Energy USA is proud to be metro-Atlanta’s largest residential solar provider. The SEUSA corporate office in Alpharetta is powered by 158 photovoltaic solar panels which provide power to our public EV charging station which charges our company Chevy Volt during the week:
